Rear Spar

 

The rear spar is very simple. On the route end of the rear spar there are some internal parts glued in just like on the main spar with a 1/8: ply cover on both sides. The rear spar is not an I beam construction. It is 1/2" square boards glued on to 1/8" plywood with some inspection holes drilled into the plywood with some 1/2" square bracing installed. After the spar is build the top rear side of the spar has to be beveled to match the top side of the ribs. That was a little difficult and time consuming.
